St. Paul's seeks to be engaged in the wider community in many different ways.

Working together, St. Paul's, Woking and St. Michael's, Sheerwater are setting up a charity called Maybury And Sheerwater Community Trust (MASCOT) to focus on meeting needs in the communities of Maybury and Sheerwater.  This is an exciting venture through which we will be involved in the community listening; serving; helping; training and working with others. See the MASCOT website for more details.

Woking People of Faith
We are very much involved with Woking People of Faith and host many of the Management Committee meetings in the Community Hall.

Good Neighbour Scheme
We are greatly involved in running a Good Neighbour Scheme for the area.  This scheme is called SECAM Care (South East, Central (Woking) And Maybury).  It is a scheme to help people to get to hospital appointments, doctors appointments, shopping etc - anything a 'good neighbour' neighbour might do.

If you can offer any help, even just an hour a month - it requires many volunteers - please contact either Rev Richard Hay  (see contact page) or the Church office.

New Monument School
We are delighted to work with the school in different ways, as they desire.

Community Action
The Church has run 'Hope' weekends on the first weekend of May for the last few years.  It is often referred to locally as 'Red T Shirt' weekend.  People from the Church help in the community in many different ways; clearing gardens; decorating; free family fun day; free car washes and teas and many more.
