Nick is the vicar of St Paul’s Church, Woking. He studied Jewish History and Hebrew, Theology and also trained as a history teacher before spending many years in children’s, youth and student ministry prior to becoming a vicar. He is married to Aisha and they have 2 young children.
Following ongoing discussions today amongst the church leadership team, we have decided with sadness and regret to suspend in person worship services at st Paul’s in Woking.
This means there will be no service from the 3rd January live in church.
I am really sorry that we have to do this. I dislike greatly the thought of not meeting together, even a few of us. But the local infections rates are only growing and in the areas where we live and travel from. If we knew more about the new variant of the virus we may be more able to put in mitigating processes that are effective. But we don’t know enough yet. So this is a temporary measure and we will review it as soon as more information is available or at the end of January whichever comes first.
I know this will be a disappointment to many. Please stay in touch with me and others and let us know how you are doing. We will also be in touch with you one way or the other.
God bless and thank you for your understanding
