“How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity”  Psalm 133:1

St. Paul’s seeks to be engaged in the wider community in many different ways.

Working together, St. Paul’s, Woking and St. Michael’s, Sheerwater are setting up a charity called Maybury And Sheerwater Community Trust (MASCOT) to focus on meeting needs in the communities of Maybury and Sheerwater.  This is an exciting venture through which we will be involved in the community listening; serving; helping; training and working with others.

Woking People of Faith

St. Paul’s hosts the Management Committee meetings throughout the year and the AGM and the Church is an enthusiastic supporting of WPoF and accepts its challenge and encouagement to understand differences in faith and culture.

Good Neighbour Scheme

We are greatly involved in running a Good Neighbour Scheme for the area.  This scheme is called SECAM Care (South East, Central (Woking) And Maybury).  It is a scheme to help people to get to hospital appointments, doctors appointments, shopping etc – anything a ‘good neighbour’ neighbour might do.

If you can offer any help, even just an hour a month – it requires many volunteers – please contact either Rev Richard Hay or the Church office.

New Monument School

We are delighted to work with the school in different ways, as they desire.

Hope Weekend

The Church has run ‘Hope’ weekends annually for the last few years.  It is often referred to locally as ‘Red T Shirt’ weekend.  People from the Church help in the community in many different ways; clearing gardens, decorating, family fun day, car washes, teas and more.
